• There have been many changes at the global, national and local level since the D113 last completed strategic planning in 2017. With that in mind, District 113 Superintendent Dr. Chala Holland and the Board of Education agreed that now is the right time to complete strategic planning once again.

The District has engaged Catalyst for Educational Change (CEC) to facilitate this process. A group of stakeholders representing students, staff, parents/caregivers, municipal partners, sender elementary districts, and Board representatives are a part of the Strategic Plan Committee, devoting the time and energy over several sessions to gain a better understanding of where we are now to determine what we want our future to be, so that ultimately the District can thoughtfully design a path there.
