Welcome to the Girl Up Club!

Girl Up is a campaign initiated by the United Nations Foundation, uniting girls to change the world. It is an empowering community of passionate advocates changing policies and raising funds to support United Nations programs that help to reach girls living in places in the world where it is hardest to be a girl. Here at Highland Park High School, we join these efforts and make a difference in the lives of girls in our community and around the world. Girl Up members may participate in field trips in the Chicagoland area, listen to guest speakers, plan school-wide activities focused on international days recognizing women, fundraise for UN programs supporting young girls in developing countries, and speak and advocate for females at public events. Girl Up welcomes both male and female students of HPHS!
