    • The online exam will begin at 8:00 am, and you will have 75 minutes to complete the exam. Students are welcome to come early at 7:45 am and should plan to miss Period 1 class and Homeroom.  All students are expected to be back in class by 2nd Period.

    • Make sure to bring a fully charged Chromebook, charger, and pencils. Acceptable additional items include rulers, compasses, and erasers; we will provide scratch paper and extra pencils. However, prohibited materials include calculators, smartwatches, phones, computing devices, protractors, and graph paper. All phones and smartwatches should be placed in the phone pocket at the front of the room before the exam begins.

    • You will be taking the American Mathematics Contest (AMC) digitally, and it is essential to test the lockdown feature on your Chromebook prior to the exam on Tuesday morning. Please follow these steps to ensure a successful setup:

      1. Log out of your Chromebook.
      2. Click the apps button located at the bottom left of your screen.
      3. Select the "DataMate - American Math Contest (AMC)" option. This will restrict access to the test only, ensuring no other sites can be accessed.
      4. To exit kiosk mode, press and hold the power button for a few seconds until you see options to shut down or log out. Either choice will allow you to exit the restricted mode.

If you encounter any issues while testing the lockdown feature on your Chromebook, you may rent a Chromebook from Beck's, or we will have paper copies of the test available for you. Please note that personal computers are not permitted for this exam. You are welcome to rent a Chromebook from Beck's to use on the test.
