Robotics Club offers the opportunity for DHS students to get involved designing, building, and programming a robot to complete in the global FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) competition. FTC is a sports-based, team alliance competition requiring students to work in small teams and apply real-world math and science concepts to design a robust competitive robot. The season begins early September at the announcement of the new competition, and depending upon success and advancement, the season concludes late February / early March.
The DHS team aligns with the HPHS team, making this a true cross-school project. FTC is a great opportunity for team-building and technical skill.
