The purpose of the Warriors Hockey Program is to promote the physical development and moral character of our players through an instructional and competitive ice hockey program. 

1. All students attending Deerfield High School are eligible to try out for the DHS Hockey teams. Incoming freshmen may also participate in spring league programs in their final year of junior high school. Other students may be eligible to participate on regular or spring league teams or in other programs in appropriate circumstances determined by the Board. 

2. The primary goals of DHS Hockey are: a) to form the most competitive teams possible; b) to teach the players hockey skills and good sportsmanship in a safe and structured environment; and c) to encourage all players to be responsible members of the local scholastic and social communities by teaching them discipline and teamwork.
