At the August 9 Board of Education Meeting, the Administration presented district goals for the 2022-23 school year that align with the goals the Board adopted in April 2020 and included in Policy 1-30, School Organization/School District Philosophy:

1. Improve climate
2. Improve practices that improve student outcomes
3. Increase leadership capacity
4. Improve communication

On September 27, to the preceding four goals, the Board agreed to a fifth goal that responds to the mass shooting on July 4:

1. Improve climate
2. Improve practices that improve student outcomes
3. Increase leadership capacity
4. Improve communication
5. Recover from the trauma caused by the July 4 mass shooting
