Township High School District 113 does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its programs and activities and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups. The District has established a grievance procedure to provide a prompt, fair review of complaints alleging discrimination and harassment, including alleged violations of Title IX, which prohibits discrimination in educational programs and activities on the basis of sex.
All grievances alleging discrimination and / or harassment, including sex equity/Title IX grievances should be filed with any District Complaint Manager. The Complainant may request a Complaint Manager of the same sex. The Complaint Manager may request the Complainant to provide a written statement regarding the nature of the complaint or require a meeting with the parent(s)/guardian(s) of a student. The Complaint Manager shall assist the Complainant as needed.
