On Saturday, October 26, 2024, sophomore and junior students have the opportunity to take the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). We strongly encourage all students to take advantage of this opportunity. The school district will cover the costs to take this test for all interested students.
This free test (in digital format) is available to all sophomores and juniors and is the qualifying exam for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Juniors who score very well enter the National Merit Scholarship competition.
The PSAT/NMSQT is also a valuable opportunity for junior students to experience a test with content similar to the SAT.
