AP Exams 2025
Deerfield High School is pleased to offer 27 AP courses this school year. Each AP course culminates with a standardized exam designed to measure how well students have mastered the content and skills of a specific AP course. The 2025 AP Exams will be administered between May 5-16.
AP Exam Registration
Students who are interested in adding an AP exam after the November 13, 2024 deadline should email Dan Chamberlin at dchamberlin@dist113.org. Please note there is an additional $40 late-add fee charged by College Board.
AP Exam Opt Out Request
To cancel an AP Exam, please submit the AP Exam Opt Out Request Form by November 14, 2024. Canceling by this date ensures that you will not be charged a $40 late cancelation fee.
Canceling an AP Exam AFTER November 14
- If requesting to cancel an AP exam AFTER November 14, 2024, students must fill out the AP Exam Cancelation Request Form (2024-25).
- Please be reminded that if you cancel your AP exam after November 14 you will be required to pay the College Board’s $40 cancelation fee.
- Students who drop an AP class after November 14 are not automatically dropped from the exam. Students must still complete the cancelation request form AND will still be charged the College Board cancelation fee.

- Students who have accommodations should check their College Board decision letters to make certain that all expected accommodations are listed for AP exams. Log into your College Board account to view or download the letter.
- As always, students may only use accommodations that have been approved by the College Board Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) office.

Late Test Requests for College Board Approved Conflicts
- Occasionally, circumstances make it necessary for students to test late.
- To preserve the security of AP Exams, alternate versions of the exams are used for late testing.
- Late exams will take place between May 21-23 and must fall under a valid College Board reason (Valid College Board Reasons).
- Students who would like to take the late test should complete the AP Exam Conflict Testing Request (2025) form for each exam that has a conflict.
